Paul Fellows headed up the languages group at Acornsoft who developed this ROM. The ROM routines were mostly written by Richard Manby, with additional code from the rest of the languages group: Tony 'Sam' Thompson, Stuart 'Tutu' Swales, and Tim Dobson who came from the games division where he wrote Monsters, Maze and Magic Mushrooms. Who is 'Sharron' in the credits? Unclear. Is the ampersand an indication that Sharron was Paul's other half at the time? This same team (with additional members) went on to produce the 'Arthur' operating system for the Archimedes, with Paul Fellows heading up the group (and doing some coding): Tony Thompson: Core OS (bootup, memory management etc). Richard Manby: Graphics, Arthur Desktop (and later the 'Draw' program) Tim Dobson: Text, Sound, Keyboard, Serial Port. Stuart Swales: Filing system (Fileswitch), the heap manager? At this point just before Arthur became RISC-OS, Paul Fellows left Acorn.
